Always cool to see how a new technology can be used to build engagement and relationships. I think it will be interesting to see how tech like twitcam evolves to add more video to the web.
The other issue is if you want to use it live in your blog, every tweet that goes out sends a link to the show page on Twitcam (or ustream) and not the blog page.
I understand why, cause they are going to add ads to the twitcam page and make money off advertising, so they want to keep people on the twitcam page. But, they could offer a moderate priced pgm to brand it (unlike livestream pro which is bigger $$$).
And I don't like how it just starts playing w/o having to hit play, when embedded on the blog … I know that a lot of people like that on videos but I think it's an imposition. And annoying when I'm just trying to reply to a comment.
btw my daughter has been listening to this vid for the last 5 minutes. when asked, she says she “likes that he talks, I like that round thing, and his shirt. I like him.”
so apparently you are really popular among the cute-little-4-year-old-girl crowd.
I love that it's auto archived and can be embedded into your blog! Would love to be able to see the tweets but you mention alot of them so its not all missed. I missed it live but don't really feel as though I missed anything other than being able to ask questions live.
I have a lot of lag watching it. I'm on an ADSL2 connection. I'm thinking that if I ran a live Twitcam it's going to be horrid for the other participants/viewers with the lag from my end… imagining that the lag is also going to be recorded?
have you figured out how to stop the video from automatically starting when it’s embeded into a blog? rnI love twitcam wish they had a way to stop it from auto starting.

Is the fact that there is no volume control (other than mute) related to Twitcam or the player you chose?

Yeah, not having the chat on the blog embedding makes twitcam a loser for me (as far as blog embedding goes at least). Wonder if they will add it?

I was just going to compliment you on your head gear!
That's all through Twitcam
I've always wanted to look like a telemarketer

Sweet… sometimes simplicity is KING! (not always though)
Mine I would love if DISQUS figured out a way for me to comment on a blog post with video without the page reloading
Very cool stuff Scott- thanks for testing and sharing
My pleasure

Have you checked out http://www.blogtv.com? It allows your users to chat with you directly as you live broadcast. Its pretty awesome.
Hi Scott. Thank you for testing and sharing this! It's greatly appreciated!
I love the authenticity of this! I love that it enables peeps to ask questions and be answered live.
NICE!! That's the hardest demographic to win over!

Yep, that's gonna hurt everything. Be sure to run a test with a few people first to see how it goes on their end
Ok. Thanks! Will do that! It was great Scott – very informative! Thank you!!!!
Hi Scott I definitely agree I also like the interaction
Loving the video man.
This is really cool!
Sorry I missed the live feed – will have to do catch up!
